NSF Grant Creates Scholarships

The KCC Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Program was awarded a federal grant from the National Science Foundation Division of Undergraduate Education.  The project entitled “START UP – Student Tuition Aid for Research and Transfer in Urban Polynesia” will provide scholarships to STEM students as support to complete ASNS degrees, and is part of KCC’s broader initiative to increase financial aid offerings for academically talented and economically disadvantaged students.  The project will commence on June 1, 2010 under the direction Principal Investigator Robert Moeng.
